Love to you, sis🖐🏾❤💋Thank you. I couldn't help but do it. Every year that goes by, these sisters are barely ever mentioned for their work. Without them organizing, the march may never have happened. They had big challenges trying to get different organizations to work together for that day.

I can't begin to imagine the frustration they felt being pushed aside, especially by Bayard Rustin -- he was very vocal about not wanting the sisters to speak. He was a queer Black brother fighting against homophobia who wanted to deny women their chance to be heard. It breaks my soul.
