I have to wonder. If medical care strictly stated in support of a transitioning child was written into a custody agreement, agreed on by both parents, signed by a judge, essentially a court order, would new legislation usurp or negate that court order?

I hope it would support that. The best thing for the child should always be supported.

Both parents listening and supporting the child, regardless of the marital situation, should always take precedence over any court decision.

Feels like muddy water. Which feels like a way out for a lot of families. Parents rights don’t exist more than they do in family court. Child custody agreements in which both parents agree fly through courts getting signatures easy. Who chooses which court order to follow. what happens next?
