Still think he was funded to buy and tear down the platform in advance of the 2024 elections. This was all too purposeful and single minded. Lucky for us @cbouzy built us a better alternative that if more journalists regularly put content here Spoutible would be fiercer than X was in its heyday.

Yahoo Finance says that Musk revealed Twitter/X current value as $4B during the US Labor Day weekend. That's a 90% loss on the $44B purchase. It explains Musk's attack against the American Defamation League; he's desperate.

Who will Musk attack next? I predict Musk's next target is the NAACP.

I have been saying his whole purpose was to destroy it.

When he paid $44 billion it was estimated @ $12 billion or less by the financial world.

The Saudis are major holders of this debt behind Musk. In my opinion this should be looked at as an attack on American politics, fronted by Musk and financed by the Saudis.

9/11 of social media in simpler terms

So this fellow destroys 40 billion in value in a matter of months. Not clear if it’s purposeful destruction or pure idiocy. Such an incredible waste of resources.

Explains how a man can lose $40 billion and not immediately jump off a cliff. 🤷‍♂️

It was long suspected that was his purpose, I bet in the next 5-10yrs, the truth of it will come out.

It seems pretty obv to me. I mean, before an attack you want to disrupt enemy comms, or if you're doing psyops you want to control narrative. Twitter was extremely valuable.

💯%

The Saudis haven't invested for nothing...

The rich and powerful want social media platforms gone or under their control so they can manipulate when they want to.
So glad to have Spoutible as an option.

I think it's simpler than that. Elon Musk is stupid and crazy. Everything he does eventually falls apart.
