#Spoutories #restless

Winter skies in Cleveland used to be so relentlessly cloudy, like a dirty gray blanket covering the sun, that we always took a winter vacation. Otherwise by March we'd be so restless we'd have to drive south til we saw a patch of blue. We get sun now, climate change's upside.

Unless you live in Arizona. All you see is sunshine and blue skies no matter what season it is. I propose a dare that people live here during the winter months for five years. You will miss your snowy days and skies.

My parents had friends that moved to Spring Valley but returned to Chataqua for the summer. That sounded ideal until now. I love the look of AZ but not the heat.

I find that I miss the predictability of those winter days, but you are right.

It is troubling to have a 50° January day in between snowfalls. But I do appreciate a day of sun here & there.
