Pretty much all of us have weak neck muscles. Here’s a beginning to a healthier neck:
1. Place your chin on the back of your right hand. Press down with your chin and press up with your hand. Only about 5 lbs of pressure in each direction.

2. Place your left hand on the back of your head. Press back with your head and press forward with your hand. Again, just a few lbs of pressure in each direction.
3. Notice the position of your head. Slowly remove your hands, trying to keep your head and neck in the same position.

Most people will notice that the back of their neck is longer and their head is a bit closer to their shoulders than how they usually carry themselves. It helps to experience the neck in a healthier position. Keeping it in a healthier position will probably take a good deal of neck strengthening.
