Spouting this not knowing if anyone will see it. I started naming out loud the things I am grateful for every morning. Some days are more things, other days, just one or two. Two weeks in. It really gives me perspective and makes me feel less powerless.

This spout was removed because the account associated with it was suspended.

How kind. Thank you. I’ve been grieving many losses for a long time. This practice is helping and I plan to continue.

Great idea! For myself: I am so grateful to be in a position where I can retire and still keep a roof over my head. I worked for nearly 50 years to be able to do that, but plenty of people work just as long and cannot, so I am very grateful for that.

Indeed! Sometimes we forget and focus on what we wish and need, which is ok. But we should also give as much attention to what we have. Congratulations on your successes and fortunes.
