Same. I don't know what the "normal job" comparison would be. But I think for day-to-day stuff, dressing casual is fine. Maybe if there's a formal procedure going on, require formal/business attire.
And as long as the rules apply to everyone the same, I really don't care how they're dressed.

I've thought a lot about the recent change in dress code in Congress and still have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand I appreciate the idea of dressing for the job. On the other hand how many times have men in suits royally screwed us over?

Closest I can come to it is from my time in the military.

If I was out on base or working, I had to wear the uniform of the day (Senate floor)

But if I'm in my office after hours or the barracks, no one can tell me not to wear PT gear or civilian attire. (Senate office/building)
