Pro-abortion IS individual choice. Nobody wants an abortion, but we we damned sure all want one when we need one. This is differentiation without difference IMO, but they can feel isolated on an island if they want to I guess?

Largely because the Dems won't support them any longer.

One side is now pro-birth, and the other is changing their rhetoric to be pro-abortion.

So those who are pro choice in the traditional sense (aka individual rights) are on an island.

But individual choice won for Dems in the bible belt.

This is true, which is why when it comes to those who are personally against abortion, but think you should also have a choice, they tend to vote Dem.

Hence, the anti-abortion Dems.

Fair point, and one I think they got castigated with by the left in order for them to claim that Dems are the conservative party.

From a policy standpoint, it makes no sense.

But the far left is more concerned with revolution than they are advancement, so ...
