I wonder how this is going to work because people need to be able to get food when it's bad outside or they don't have power at your house so this could be useful in an emergency as well. I wonder how they are going to get it set up so that people can buy food like salads and ready to eat items

It will be under the SNAP rules, so it should cover cold deli items and pre-packaged salads from grocery stores. It won't cover hot food or prepared-to-order food, not even from grocery stores.

wow you can get a salad and a sandwich but you can't get hot chili or warm pasta in the fall or the winter. that's not very helpful and it's not very healthy especially if you don't have any way to get hot food. they have really got to do something about this system for people who can't get kitchen
