No one talks about this in the news, because obviously, even with endless funding and resources, they continually fail at their jobs, but one of the reasons you can toss out any polls showing trump in a strong postion for 2024:

He can't run a presidential campaign on 0 dollars.

If you haven't noticed, even though Trumps PACs brought in a gazillion dollars since he lost in 2020, they're also going broke from his businesses leeching off of them and also, they're spending massive amounts of money on legal fees defending his 91 criminal charges.

That's not all though. They're also funding the defense lawyers for a shitton of his co-conspirators AND witnesses. And considering he was engaged in a massive criminal conspiracy, that's a huge price tag.

Trump's super PAC started 2022 with over $100M dollars in the bank. It was down to $4M at the beginning of August.

Trump hasn't even gone to trial yet.

He's a billionaire though, so he should be able to pay his legal bills and fund his campaign out of his pocket right?

Well, the judge overseeing the civil case against his company in New York just ruled for summary judgement in favor of Tish James saying Trump commited fraud for years and inflated the value of his assets by at least $2.5B dollars.

Trump's reported net worth is around $2.5B dollars.

That means Trump is worth $0.0B dollars.

Without the ability to do business in New York, he may not even be able to pay off all of his loans.

He definitely won't be able to fund his own campaign, and may not even be able to pay for the lawyers that are telling the witnesses to lie instead of cooperating with investigators.

At this rate, Trump's campaign will barely be able to run a single ad in 2024.

Meanwhile, Biden already has $77M in the bank and there's no Democratic primary to drain his finances.

Trump better go ask Jared if he can borrow some of the $2B in Saudi money or else Biden will do to the Trump campaign what the Saudis did to Jamaal Khashoggi.

What's the media doing in the meantime? Reporting on Biden's unpopularity instead of reporting on the job he's actually doing... which would make him popular.

But obviously, the media is broken. We're trying to fix that.

How many rubles will it take to run it, seems the more pertinent question.

Putin has his hands very full and the Russian economy is in the toilet as much as Russia wants to project otherwise. Putin cut Trump off a while ago.
