It is not possible to cleave religion, and all the baggage of death and oppression that comes with it, from the artistry and skill in craft that built this basilica, but it is and remains a monument to the inspirational power of art and creativity.

Construction of the final facade and plaza, which will eventually be the main entrance to Sagrada Familia will require the demolition of a few apartment buildings that were built years ago when it looked like the basilica would never be completed.

But the deed to the building included an out that they would have to evacuate so work on the Sagrada Familia could be completed. As you can imagine it's a bit controversial and something to keep an eye on now that all but one spire has been finished.
