Once I was unknowingly given a pregnancy test while I waited for a scan I needed for cancer followup treatment. The hospital held me for over two hours waiting on the result until I finally demanded to know what was taking so long and insisted on signing a waiver.

I was lucky that my job at the time was fairly flexible, but I gave them a piece of my mind. Women in less flexible positions could have lost significant earnings or even their job thanks to the delay. Absolutely disgusting behavior by the doctor who denied Tara Rule care.
