And this isn't just true of "extreme MAGA" Republicans. The MAGAS who openly say the most horrendous racial slurs are on the same spectrum as mainstream Rs who "don't like what's happening to the country" (i.e. America becoming less patriarchal, cishet-dominated, and white).

It's the only thing that motivates them, and all GOP politicians have. Their policies harm everyone but the most privileged, but they still win elections by bringing out the bigots (plus gerrymandering and voter suppression).

In the 60s, civil rights were all about "radicals," then in the 80s, government spending was all about "welfare queens" followed by Willie Horton ads, then on and on and on.

Today's Republican party is the natural culmination of the last 60+ years. The idea that it's only "MAGA" is clearly wrong.

The Republican Party is no longer a viable, functioning political party. It is a death cult. They have been trying to force their "family values" agenda on Americans since long before the 1992 Republican Convention. It's time to let them know they don't represent real Americans.
