@danismashingit guess what? for at least a little bit the toggling of "no echoes/no splashbacks" stays set like I like even if I leave the site. probably a cache thing? (I mention this to you bc you seem to know stuff about how this all works and you answered my q before!)

An older spout which has more than 100 likes that is echoed by the system automatically. You’ll see them in your Timeline with a green « splashback » label. If you don’t like the feature, there’s a toggle at the top of your Timeline to turn it off 🙂

Thank you!!!! I’ve been here on and off since the very beginning but I missed the birth of the splashback. When I get super busy at work social media is the first thing that goes by the wayside, so I miss stuff.
