Anyone going to a Halloween party this year? I'm invited to one but still thinking about whether or not I'll go ... do you have a costume planned already?

No parties, but I have a dog walk meetup planned on the 28th and I want to go as Rainbow Brite. Hubby would be Murky Dismal. Doggo would be Twink the Sprite, of course.

GIF ID: Rainbow Brite throwing stars. Underneath is the word 'YAY!' in puffy letters.

I once sewed an entire bag of cotton balls to a winter cap and went as a Q-tip. Great if it is cold outside and easy on easy off. Packs away nicely for reuse, too. After all that sewing, I decided against smearing it with peanut butter to look like ear wax.

Get a cardboard box, draw a huge X on the front & back. You'll be an X Box.

Thinking of putting on a red baseball cap, white Oxford, vintage tie (very loosely tied, of course), and jeans or black Dickies and my Converse, and going as Holden Caulfield. I did that for my shift at the bookstore one Halloween, and it was easy and well-liked.

I did a what would you wear to a literary ball question. It works for Halloween too.

I wish. I'll be working. If you go, have fun for the rest of us, too! I like Khrissy's suggestions for costumes!

No Halloween party invites for me. I haven’t been to one since I was in Girl Scouts, and I’m okay with that. For a costume idea you could go as a vampire librarian or a character from a banned or challenged book.

Yes, I think I might just go as Clark Kent with the Superman shirt showing underneath like last year because costumes are expensive.
One year I went as Wilson from Home Improvement and hid my face behind a prop fence I carried everywhere.

No, haven’t been to one for years. If you decide to go, please share your costume choice. 😊

I won’t be going to a party but do dress up for the trick or treaters. Wearing my Jedi costume this year.
