I disagree.

Part of the misery of Twitter was people fighting it out in the comments and being notified about all that mess. It’s too much.

I think that once someone replies to someone else, it’s no longer your conversation. You can still read it easily though.

You spout. Someone replied under (not quoted). And then another person replied to the person that replied to you, and you have no idea because you didn't get notification of the other reply

As long as the subsequent replies are under your spout, you should know what’s going on there,😃 @cbouzy

It’s polite to @ the person if someone responds to the wrong person to make sure they see it.

Clicking through all of the comments can be a lot, but it’s better than the alternative imo.
