I vastly prefer non-fiction, but some works of non-fiction can grab my attention - well-written bio & autobiographies (even ghostwritten); true crime; and historical accounts. I'm currently reading "To Hell And Back: The Last Train From Hiroshima," and it's mesmerizing. At the same time, I'm also

I used to own a bookstore, so I'm agnostic on that... but I *am* a total sucker for sci-fi or fantasy with funny, sharp witted, banter-y dialogue between well fleshed out characters. Like the Gentleman Bastards series.
