Would you recommend The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult? Why or why not?

Yes, I would recommend it and am planning to suggest it for my book club. I'd like to take a deeper dive on morals and what people think about when faced with a life-ending decision. Also, who has the right to be forgiven and who has the right to free that person? #SBBC #TheStoryteller

I would for someone looking for an easy, enthralling read. Piccoult books seem to read themselves.

Yes, but with a warning. I read much of this as the horrifying events in Israel on Oct 7 were unfolding and it was hard. Sensitive souls can and should read it, but in quieter circumstances perhaps.

#thestoryteller , I would tell people it's a good book.
it's got a little something for everyone
fantasy, historical fiction, romance, personal growth...
If they'd like to get deeper into the premise of hate/forgiveness
I'd tell them to read
The Sunflower by Wiesenthal
It was more compelling.

Part of the #SBBC discussion process is to help people choose books to read in the future.
