Yes! In our fast-paced world, many businesses want instant results, but true growth demands patience.
Nike was a small distributor of Japanese sneakers before making their own. Lululemon slowly built its brand via community. Success is a journey, not an entitlement. Greatness takes time to blossom.

Not enough businesses understand this. Produce a quality product, treat your customers & employees right, and find efficiencies where possible. The problem is when you make ‘growth’ your sole ambition. End up taking short cuts to nowhere.

I have been in over 40 startups (mostly tech related) in one role or another for decades with 4 significant exits). Failure rates in tech are high because they build for an exit instead of building a durable business, often fueled with impatient capital.

Being poor makes you smarter.

You have a great business sense which includes realistic expectations for growth. Not to mention that too fast of growth will leave you looking like you don’t know what you’re doing
