Polite question. Can you explain Christian origins of Halloween? I ask if someone from home this is a sacred Day related to the end of harvest.

Of course! I appreciate the dialogue.

When I say this- I mean it is a Holiday on the Christian liturgical calendar (All Hallow’s Eve) and has been for centuries longer than our society has existed. THAT is the only reason we know and celebrate it in the modern West.

True, but people certainly love the pagan origin claims. It’s certainly secular now just like most other holidays that had religious beginnings.
