Just an observation: personal spouts seem to attract less attention than political ones. If Spoutible will supersede Twitter, we need to appreciate the general shares, personal selfies, life posts, while also appreciating the political ones. Maybe it's just me...

I also think because this is a place of people not bots, echoing personal spouts doesn't seem sincere. I see "likes" as an affirmation and actual dialog in comments as a way to connect.

Even if not echoing, but contributing to the spirit of the spout. Engagement brings camaraderie and connections which I imagine is part of the mission of Spoutible. I'm here to make new connections!

We all are. It is human nature to want to belong, interact, learn and engage. That is what the Spoutible experience/ experiment is testing.
