Grandparents are the best kind of grownups. If nothing is going well, call your grandparents.

Now, pick up the car keys and the kids and go visit Grandma and Grandpa. Otherwise, pick up the phone and video call your mama and papa. You will be glad you did.

Let's make hay while the sun shines.

I miss my grandmothers and my husband's grandmother. Oh, for one more glorious afternoon in their presence.

If you don't know where to start, use this book from Bob Greene. After my only grandpa died in 1995, I had my maternal & paternal grandmas answer as many questions as they could. Both have since passed, but I still have the notebooks where they wrote their responses. Wish I did it sooner.

I wish I could call my mom,dad or grandparents.
I miss my mom the most though. I spoke to her everyday. No matter what was going on in my life,or hers,I called her every day.

I miss my maternal grandparents to this day. They were wonderful to me. I was lucky to have them until I was a young adult.

As a grandparent I heartily agree. There are few things more cherished than a call from a grandchild.

Three of my four grandparents have passed, and I have missed them dearly, but I find my grief is more acute now, as I look forward to becoming a grandfather myself in the coming months. I wish we could talk once more, about this new common bond, how it affected them, and the joy they found in it.

I am really sorry about the passing of your grandparents. Life is chock-full of both joy and sorrow. I hope you live a long, healthy life.

Do enjoy your day to the fullest, Bret. Cheers!

I miss my grandpa... He was SO MUCH FUN!

Seriously, cherish them if you still have them and spend more time with them if you can. Video calls are such a good idea.

Isn't that the truth. It made me sad because all of my people are gone and I've got no one to call. Both sets of grandparents and parents gone too soon. Siblings aren't really the same. I'm going to go find something now to not be sad, I hope 😺.

I am really sorry about your grandparents, Naeemah. Life is full of happiness and tears. Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.

There is always going to be something to be happy for. Think only about that, my Spoutible friend.

32 yrs this year I lost the only Grandparent I'd ever known. 😢 I miss him so much. Never judged, and kept me together when I felt lost. He was just the gift of love and wild stories 💕

We watched dinosaur vids on YouTube, played with LEGO blocks and chased his Nani around with remote control cars tonight. Lots of fun.

My fondest memories are of my grandmother, who died 30 yrs ago and we still talk about her as if she were alive. 💕

My grandfather taught me a lot by how he lived till he died when I was 13. Dad died when I was 19. My brother died when I was 22. My mother was my rock until her passing in 2014 at the age of 91.

She taught me a lot about myself, who I was. She was my mirror.
