Located on the second floor of the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill, this is where you will find the eight Books of Remembrance containing the names of more than 120,000 Canadians who have given their lives in the service of our country.

My company had the privilege of working on the restoration of the chamber and in crafting the Memorial Altars which hold the Books of Remembrance.

These are the altars where they keep the books that list all of the Canadians who died in conflicts. There are 8 books, and they turn the pages everyday. If you have a family member who died, you can find out when their page will be displayed.

So no, not the ark of the covenant.
