After repeatedly telling people I'm not open to any new TV shows that are heavy, too dark, or stressful....

I have now begun watching
The Boys

Which makes me cry and scream, and weighs on my mind all day

So it seems that I'm a big liar and I just don't want to watch the stuff people rec

It is a... very intense show. But highly entertaining. Brilliant parody on a recent period in US history.

It's wonderful. So well made, and perfectly strikes that balance between humor and horror

I'm realizing that rather than telling people that the shows they recommended sounded "too dramatic" for me, it would have been more honest to say "they sound too boring" ;)

It's absolutely wonderful but SO dark

I'm laughing at myself because I actually said to people "I'm so stressed, I need a light show, maybe Emily in Paris.."

And now here I am, waking up laughing and snarling as I remember Homelander's latest...uh...antics, lets call them ;)
