After repeatedly telling people I'm not open to any new TV shows that are heavy, too dark, or stressful....

I have now begun watching

Which makes me cry and scream, and weighs on my mind all day

I love The Boys. I think I find it so funny and twisted that it doesn't seem that heavy to me?

It's absolutely wonderful but SO dark

I'm laughing at myself because I actually said to people "I'm so stressed, I need a light show, maybe Emily in Paris.."

And now here I am, waking up laughing and snarling as I remember Homelander's latest...uh...antics, lets call them ;)

😂 I guess I just have a really dark sense of humor so even when I find things on the show disturbing, they're so absurd and OTT that it doesn't upset me. Other than the gross out factor of things like the whale or The Deep's octopus friend. I need light viewing after Last of Us though!

My sense of humor is def on the dark side as well.

Have you seen Ash Vs The Evil Dead (the tv series)? It's over-the-top gruesome but pretty amazing.
