There is a medication I used to take called low dose naltrexone for the #Fibromyalgia . It's a 4.5 mg compound and insurance refuses to cover it. I can't afford it. I don't understand why the manufacturer can't make this so it's covered by insurance. No reason why FDA shouldn't approve.

It depends entirely on the insurance whether they cover compounded meds. I got lucky my insurance covered it at my local compounding pharmacy when I took that, but wouldn't have if I ordered out of state. In the UK it's only available privately, no option to have it provided on the NHS at all.
