In 2001 my son spent 2 days shadowing my mom to meticulously write down her Thanksgiving prep. When the food was ready, my dad post-TIA began sundowning & was afraid to sit at the table. Dad never ate solid food again & passed in Feb.

Dave was devastated. But now we have those precious recipes.

We made Mom's stuffing for her last 2 Thanksgivings, both pandemic meals. Almost the same ingredients as her meatloaf! No wonder we all fought over 2nds & 3rds.

I liked this a lot, Linda. Reminds of how my little sister watched every time when our Grandma made her greens and took notes. ❣️
