There’s turkey everywhere here.

In Canada.

Maybe I’ll swing out and grab a pumpkin pie for football tomorrow.

Forced myself to go Sunday night on my way home from a family gathering when I saw the parking lot wasn’t full. The store was out of fresh cranberries so I pivoted to whole canned.

Tried another store Tuesday but parking lot was insane so I drove in then back out again.

Canned will do just fine!

Heading down to the local deli actually. They usually overmake their Thanksgiving special orders, and I stock up on their cranberry sauce.

Current Cuisine will do you right if you're in SW Ohio.

If my closest grocery store is any indication, there is going to be a ton of internet searches for, "what can I use instead of X "
Maybe it will inspire some new favorite recipes!
It is a big chain in a medium-big city & they have been out of all forms of heavy cream and evaporated milk for a week

That should be a crime! No Instacart? Or Costco?

So. Cranberries did not come with the groceries and I needed them for the dessert.

And now I am in a tailspin trying to figure out something else to make (my plan C has to be made same day).

So I am debating entering the fray.

For cranberries.

Go in with a purpose, and grab them and go. You can do it!

I would advise against wandering around the store. Therein lies madness.
