A gentle reminder that we would all be able to help move away from coal and fossil fuels (probably in under a decade) if electric companies would allow homes to generate twice their usage in solar power and pump it back into the grid for a rebate.

In response to Trauma Epidemic.
Due to the different capacities used to transmit over distance and then to change capacities in between energy loses an overall average of 11.5% between production and use. Solar has a degrading loss over time but takes 20 years to reach that loss rate. Is a local mesh grid better?
