My little 3-4 year old granddaughter loves her mommy reading her books. In my day it was Little Golden and Dr Seuss. Are they still a thing? Are they age appropriate?

Mo Willems is the way to go. My family prefers Elephant and Piggie, but everything we've tried of his has been good.

Thank you.
And when I said 'age appropriate' I meant that she seems very bright for her age. And I don't want to go too low ball. Just to clarify for others who might reply.
Thanks again. Googling your choices as we speak.

Mo Willems makes great books for that age group. Check out the Elephant and Piggie series, or the Pigeon books.

Mo has written some excellent books. The pigeon series is really good. I used to buy Richard Scarry books for my kids.
