Language matters. How many who consider themselves liberal/progressive describe women they don't like as "masculine" & men they don't like as "feminine" in a clearly pejorative way? Or hint at people being "gay" as a bad thing? If you do this, you're NOT progressive or liberal. This is bigotry.

I feel like "feminine" and "masculine" are always tied up in bullshit gender stereotypes. I would be happy to see them not get used at all anymore.

I blocked another alleged ally after repeatedly using (I looked at their timeline) a marginalized community as a joke.
Peoples' existences are not the butt of jokes or insults. It's just not funny. It's rude and demeaning.
