I've read it twice. One of my favorite books.

For your consideration (in addition to the poll):
No other book on this list has had such an impact on changing hearts, minds, institutional structures and teaching, corporate accountability, US NIH Policy and an Act of Congress than “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks”

I always go by the poll, but it's the front runner right now. We're choosing two books with the poll, so if not March then April.

I voted for Henrietta Lacks (haven't read it, I promise to be more on top of my hold requests!!) but also Their Eyes Were Watching God is a masterpiece in many different ways, not the least of which is its revolutionary use of dialect.

(Not to take anything away from the incomparable Dr. Angelou)

I've read Eyes twice but it's been a long long time, so I would read again if picked.

I had to choose Monday’s Not Coming because I have read the other three. This is the first book club I have come across that chooses books I want to read.
