It would be good if a little more were said in states where they're trying to remove lessons about slavery and the Civil War from public schools/textbooks, actually. She knew better, her leaving it out was a lie, but what happens when a whole generation of people don't, anymore?

And, though sometimes it's less dramatic than a person literally owning another person, people like her are still doing the same shit. They oppose any limits to their freedom to take away someone else's freedom.
