Mark Twain's bear repeating.
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”

The anti-intellectual attitude in America is baffling. So many hate anyone that is more educated than themselves.

It’s a fact that the problem is much bigger, vastly larger in scope, than TFG, who is really only a symptom of it. Ignorance is pervasive in this country, but so much of it is *willful* ignorance. It’s wrong to lay a lot of the blame on our educational systems.

Yup, educ. won't do it, even tho' most MAGAts are lower educated

The problem is that the RW is herding the stupids, which are normally a bit random

They've abandoned reason, so educ won't help. They were losers in the educ system - they never got it & others got ahead

Plus it's more abt bigotry
