This also goes well beyond social media since many educational opportunities also require the internet. When covid shut down classes the internet was invaluable in maintaining some level of educating. The Internet is a utility and needs to be classified as such.

Yes. Not to mention they no longer publish telephone directories. You can't find any information in terms of phone numbers, addresses, and hours of operation without the internet.

That's very true. Liz (Adams) also pointed out all jobs opportunities are online, and I was saying libraries are also under attack.
