In response to Null (ze/zer).
Not throwing shade on anybody, but it's just plain fact that once you become a parent, no bodily fluids will ever make you flinch again.

I can honestly say I am an anomaly to that theory. As a highly sensitive person, I not only flinched, I mimicked. Every. Darn. Time. As a result, he’s an only child. He’s 23 now and me, my husband (god love him) & son all survived. I also had 9 months of morning sickness.

The morning sickness duration would have sealed it for me.

It did. Two weeks after he was born, I had to have my gallbladder removed. The OB/GYN calmly informed me that 50% of all pregnant women have to have their gallbladder removed. That is what made me so sick. It was never mentioned during my pregnancy. My husband had to hold me back.

Same for my wife, except the gallbladder was *misdiagnosed* as simple reflux for three months and 4 emergency hospital visits!

And why is it nobody tells you this is common? Methinks it's a conspiracy to encourage breeding...
