Podmates, both current and future, what makes a spout likeable, but not quite echoable? What does a spout need for you to deem it worthy of an echo? For me, it’s the feeling of, “You took the words right out of my mouth.”

Being honest, I never much retweeted in the other place, so I guess I am not in the habit of echoing here. It's hard to get out of 10+ year habits. I do echo threads (at least the first post) if someone makes a really good point. I tend to respond in comments instead of QS. That's just me though.

For me it's "Do I think my followers need to see this?" Meaning, is it newsworthy? Is it a fresh take on something? Is it "Don't forget this thing"? Or it might not be the spout itself but "Here is an account that I've noticed that others should notice."
