Overuse of plant-based label has led to underuse or skeptics of products. Get educated!

I have been a vegetarian for over 30 years and I honestly don't even pay attention to that type of labeling. I read the actual ingredients list. (Granted, I quit eating meat long before "plant-based" was a common term.)

Im going to try adding in plant-based options this year. I was encouraged by watching “You Are What You Eat” on Netflix. Episode 3 was a real eye opener.

The easiest thing to do (if accessible/affordable) is to eat more fruits, vegetables (frozen work as well as fresh in many cases), beans, & whole grains.

This is one of the most accessible cookbooks (I think):

Beans Beans Beans! I eat a huge pile every day.

I don't eat the Impossible Burgers and/or Beyond Meat products. But I despise the taste and texture of real meat and want to avoid (have a feeling heme iron would cause me GI upset after so long without it, too). Glad they are options for those who want them though.
