In the colon? It really means more frequent colonoscopies. Boo. But when they find them, they remove the threat.
I had one removed six months ago and I’m mad about the prep more than anything.
I’m still getting the colonoscopy, though.

You have been getting checked and listening to your body - keep on with that. Good to reach out, everyone needs to be hesrd; reducing stress is really important imo when these types of issues come forward xx

Good news yours were caught and removed before becoming cancerous. My partner had this happen 10 yrs ago. For awhile he had to have more frequent colonscopies. Since then nothing more has been found.

Sounds like something that was caught early enough. Definitely sounds like something that needs attention, but also doesn't sound like something to be freaked out about. I hope this is the kind of advice you were looking for, and I hope this helps a bit 🙂

NOT AN MD, but... if the biopsy came back as precancerous, that tells me you were getting screening. Good for you! For a colonoscopy, for example, the screening is also the treatment - if they see polyps, they cut them out. Gone! It's important to follow up to watch out for new polyps.

Also, it's completely reasonable to be concerned. I hope you can turn that anxiety into commitment to be vigilant about monitoring health issues - and then, enjoy the day!

They’re precancerous, which means they’re not cancerous. Have them removed and you should be fine.
