What’s with people advocating for not taking sides in America. We chose independence over colonialism, emancipation over slavery, civil rights over Jim Crow…hell, we even have a Coke vs Pepsi caucus! Frankly, a lot of us don’t have the privilege of neutrality.

This is why I laugh when I hear in the media things like “the main problem in America is that we’ve become too polarized.” I’m like no, the main problem is that one side wants a fascist dictatorship. There is no middle ground there.
