Democrats just flipped a seat in Florida, but folks in the media and pundits would have you believe enthusiasm is down and Biden is hurting Democrats. How many special elections must Democrats win before people face the reality that the polls and pundits are just wrong.

Folks in the media want you to ignore all the wins, the actual votes from voters, but instead believe the pundits and polls that have been consistently wrong since 2016. Democrats should never get complacent, but Democrats aren't "in trouble."

Awesome news. Lately I don't watch news much. The older I get the more I realize I have a limited time left. Why waste hours a day watching msnbc. NBC can't seem to get their heads out of their ass long enough to find a decent host for meet the press. Kristen is just as bad as Chuck.

Let me rephrase your question:

How many elections will Democrats have to win before the conservative corporations who own the news outlets and who regularly benefit from keeping Republicans in power admit to the truth?

The answer becomes clearer, doesn't it?

the pundits and tv/cable hosts and pollsters have their agendas and talking points and most of them have no intention of going off script. It will always be "Dems in Disarray" for them.

Yes. Our MSM is increasingly bought out by conservatives. It’s really quite noticeable too.

I live in Fla house district 35 and voted for Keen. The ground game was very good. I repeatedly was contacted multiply was to vote and offered any help needed to do so. I think Nikki Fry is going to repeat what Stacy Abrams did in Georgia. Lets turn Fla back to purple.

Nikki Fried is great. We did well in 2008 and 2012, but it was because OFA put the work in, not the Dem party (which cost us in off years). If the party would show up and do the work, our purple would show (and slide blue!)

Only about 12% of the GOP register voters showed up (the most engaged, his base) and almost half did not vote for Trump. About 30% said if Trump is convicted and a felon they could not vote for him in the general. If you drill down it really shows
Trump is in deep doo doo.

I trust your analysis and yeah, I'm an news junkie and saw this nowhere else. But how close this was given the head of the GOP and his big victory I Iowa, has me worried there are more of these awful folks than there are of us, and Biden will lose.

As @MuellerSheWrote so eloquently xeeted yesterday:

"Trump won the Iowa Caucus with about half of 14% of registered republicans. He got a total of 56,280 votes.

We’re talking about 56,280 people here. I’ve had tweets with more likes. So maybe calm down, media."

Don't believe the mania.

In addition to tremendous support from NPAs, Black voter turnout was higher than expected. Thanks to all of you who made over 20,000 text messages and 5,700 phone calls to AfAm voters on behalf of the Orange County Dem Black Caucus. You gave Tom Keen one hellva of a night!

One of the best types of polls to determine voting behavior is the "generic ballot", ie are you more likely to vote for a Democrat or a Republican. Despite all this hand wringing about President Biden (who actually has been effective) Democrats keep winning elections like this one.

I agree with Christopher. I am part of Postcards to Voters and we had 6K+ volunteers writing to Democrats in Fl District 35 Special Election urging them to vote. We are currently writing for Tom Suozzi in NY CD-3, the seat vacated by the Santos expulsion. Please consider writing with us.

The media has created this biased narrative against Democrats, because 2016 taught them how lucrative it is. Discouragement causes apathy. The fifth estate is engaged in the most insidious kind of voter suppression.

Where "2016" = RU oligarchs, Israeli extortion ops (see J. Epstein/G. Maxwell), Saudi royalty, etc. as well as Americans (some caught up in those ops) controlling/influencing/buying media framing.
