Day 3 of knee replacement journey.
Finding it difficult to sleep at night with leg elevated, when I shift or turn the pain wakes me up. But overall the pain is less that what I worried it would be. (Thank you codeine)

Here’s some before and after X-rays. First one shows the difference between my good left knee and damaged right. Bone on bone with no cushion. Second one is obviously the new knee. Notice the staples.

Had my first home PT session and first dressing change. With all of the staples almost looks like they installed a zipper lol Not sure what all the blue lines were about

PT wasn’t too bad today, found out I wasn’t icing it often enough so now every 2 hours for 20 minutes I’m chilling.

The blue lines help them put Humpty Dumpty back together again, amongst other stuff. Glad you’re healing well - looks really really good, both new insert X-ray and in real life - take care!

Thanks, they used a robot assisted cutting dealio, surgeon had to mark 40 plus places using a special CT scan they took several days presurgery. Though I don’t think the blue lines were part of that. The horizontal lines make my leg look fat, vertical is more slimming don’t you think?
