I joined Twitter when it was still Twitter, at the end of 2019, chiefly to promote my book of fantasy poetry, Hungry Thing. I followed other fiction writers, almost exclusively. Now Twitter is X and I have come here, to Spoutible. But are there enough writers here to support that same narrow focus?

The common denominator among Spoutible members seems to be liberal politics, and that suits my temperament and policies but is not my focus. I mean, I already get plenty of politics from television and YouTube. If you like fiction or poetry and know someone else who does, help us connect.

Meanwhile, I've been collaborating with my friend @tomjolly on a playful sci-fi thread you might enjoy (or even join in on a future collaboration].

Have you checked out the splash tags #BookSpout & #WritingCommunity yet? Most of the author Spoutans can be found there & they are myriad

I’m not a writer (used to be, not anymore*), but I do love to read.

*Just to clarify: I’ve never been a professional writer. I just used to write short stories here and there. 😅

Well, I'm not a professional writer (just some fan fiction), I am a reader that supports writers.
