Adults, the CDC says you should get vaccinated ASAP unless one of the following is true:
"written documentation of adequate vaccination, laboratory evidence of immunity, laboratory confirmation of measles, or birth before 1957."

If you were born before 1957, it is assumed that you have had measles, and that your natural immunity is sufficient.

Most people born after 1957 have probably been vaccinated. There is some discussion of vaccination immunity waning, so repeat vaccination may soon be recommended.
