Can you pinpoint a single defining moment in your life that, had it not happened, there's no way you'd be where you are today?

A man was doing a landscaping job where he was shoveling dirt. The dust from the dirt was covering my car in the parking lot, I went out to yell at him and 47 years later I’m still yelling at him but we have two wonderful daughters and two adorable grandchildren. Changed my life for sure

I got cast in a play a few years back. The director became a reference applying for my current job (I worked with him a couple other times too), and I met my best friend (who also contributed to my decision to go back to college).

A few:
Agreed to go to a party with my sister, met my husband of 43 yrs
Long ago boss ran a corrupt company, called him out, got fired, enrolled in college
Last boss expressed his y-chromosome “dominance” by slowly dismantling 12 yrs of my work, found a better job and got a fat promotion this year

I tread very lightly when it comes to my pointing out other people's hypocrisies.
Coming down hard from an LSD trip, I was inadvertently confronted by my own hypocrisy.
And psychedelic experiences, tend to be imprinted in longterm memories.
That was 23 and me.

Laying on a gurney in full spinal immobilization in the hallway of a trauma center ER. Between the radio room and the main nurses station, I could hear all the traffic and conversations. At that moment I decided I wanted to be an Emergency Department RN. I was 16.

I called and, long story short, I became the 1st woman hired for patrol for that PD.
It's where I met my husband, he was my training officer!
