Personally I have chosen to use the program Keeper. There is a fee, but so far, so good. https://www.keepersecurity...

There's only four years until quantum AI exists, and then strong passwords will be moot. Mainly because we'll all be either dead or slaves to the AI overlord.

So the best way is to use a service that stores all my passwords someplace & I don’t even know what they are? Trust that all the people working there are honest & won’t sell the data, and they won’t get hacked? 🤷🏼‍♀️ As of now we keep a spreadsheet on a computer we never connect to the internet.

That was my concern also. Password managers are not immune from being corrupted or hacked. I keep my passwords written down in a small unlabeled notebook, which feels safer to me than trusting a password manager. After all, I've been hacked more often than burglarized!

My weakest passwords are 100k years and my strongest are 93 trillion. 😀 And easily memorable. The only problem with long passwords is typing them accurately.

Be aware that is using TODAY's technology. In 10 years, computers will be even faster and these times will be greatly reduced.

I use spaces regularly as well. The difference in hack times is huge.
"mypassword" = 58 minutes
"my password" = a year
"My Password" = 100 years
"1000 rainy days" = 100 million years*

A 20 character limit is an Internet antiquity. Password length and complexity really should be reworked at Spoutible.

Just because 20 character limits might be old hat to some, doesn't mean they aren't still useful. Always use the maximum # of allowed characters in a password.
