Fact checking is a learned skill that not everyone has.
More n more I notice that the search engines are not bringing up websites & information that I know was once easily found.
Am going to trust there is a community here, that will call whatever out -cuz this helps everyone.

Agreed. The spread of misinformation can be attributed to 2 main causes, ignorance and malice. The former can be remedied to some extent through education and civil discourse. The latter is more difficult to combat since they often rely on that ignorance to spread their lies.
