Who is ready for a tear jerker this morning?

One of my very, very elderly clients planted a tree with his partner when they bought their house 50 years ago. His partner has since passed away.

The tree has been showing signs of stress so I sent an arborist out to look at it.

I relayed this to my client, the good and bad news of his beloved spruce tree. He tells me he wants to do the treatment and then says to me:

"I really hope I die before the tree does."

This very sweet man doesn't want to lose the tree that reminds him of his husband, the love of his life.

It broke my heart. 💔💔💔
