Have you ever just been done with something? After 2+ years of daily #Wordle , I stopped three days ago. I started the puzzle and just....didn't want to go there. It was a form of low-level stress that I no longer found useful. (And I'm a good Wordler.) Do you find that weird?

Not weird at all! It's how I go through life, as an ADD-brained thing-maker. I do return to some pursuits over and over. Now that I'm pretty old, I have collected a lot of useful skills and experience, which makes me a good resource. Meanwhile my house has collected a million half-finished projects!

I kinda like that. Evidence of curiosity!

I have never stuck with anything. Music, reading, gardening, hiking, all sorts of activities that I love to the point of ordering my life around them, even for years on end, and then I just ... don't.

My instinct says that I was meeting a need, until I didn't have the need anymore. Sometimes we explore things until we arrive at 'enough.' Maybe old hobbies work that way too.

I get that. Sometimes we're just … done.
