I think their idea of "date" is entirely something else and not consensual. I mean no is yes to them and apparently they will still get visitation/custody in these states.

If this happens, marriage rates should absolutely plummet, no one should marry if they have no ability to leave the marriage. I don't care why someone would want a divorce, if they want it, they should be able to get it. No possibility of divorce? Fuck marriage.

Their solution is to continue to strip women of their rights until they have no choice but to rely on a husband or male family member for all things.

I am sure they're modeling the idea on A Handmaid Tale, but I find it ironic that the same concept is life in Saudi or Iran.
